Community Outreach

Apexio has been a Gold sponsor of the Fall 5k event since inception. In addition to financially supporting the race, employees participate in the race as well as support the race execution. The purpose of the race is to raise funds that will allow the C.A.R.E. Center to continue to meet the needs of those who need assistance in Southeastern Madison County. Last year, the C.A.R.E Center provided over 1000 3-day emergency food supplies to families in Southeast Madison County. The C.A.R.E. Center reaches over 180 students a week through its tutoring programs at New Hope Elementary, Owens Cross Roads Elementary, and Madison County Elementary. The C.A.R.E Center also sent 20 children from NHES to various summer camps and started a First in Family Scholarship Program for New Hope High School. Many business and non-profit organizations responded to make this race a success.

Beginning with original inception, Apexio has financially and technically supported The New Hope Children’s Clinic. The New Hope Children’s Clinic is a free and low-cost medical clinic that provides healthcare to the children of Southeastern Madison County to include New Hope, Owens Cross Roads, Big Cove, and Gurley. Many of the children in these areas are uninsured and have limited access to routine medical care and treatment. In addition to acute care treatment and well-child examinations, the clinic provides illness and injury prevention education to its patients and their families. Studies have shown that good health is a critical cornerstone to academic and social success and is a precursor to learning. The New Hope Children’s Clinic maintains a nurturing and safe environment where children are respected and loved. The clinic provides the children with access to healthcare so they can focus on just being a kid.

• Apexio established the online presence of the clinic through website creation
• Apexio lead vendor negotiation and provided vendor selection support of the Clinic’s healthcare management system
• Apexio specified and executed the procurement of all information technology resources
• Apexio manages the underlying operational support infrastructure (email / calendaring / productivity applications)
